A city guide about the alternative neighbourhood in Saarbrücken,
the capital of Saarland in SouthWest Germany, the Nauwieser Viertel. The goal was to show everything commercial and non-commercial you can find in the neighbourhood, by night and by day.
Corporate Design and packaging for Bach’s, a small southern german brewery founded in 2009.
Delivering bars and festivals with their handcrafted beers, in 2018 they decided to go the next step and bring their sustainable range of beers to the retailers together with a new design.

A brochure and kind of city guide about the alternative neighbourhood in Saarbrücken, the capital of Saarland in SouthWest Germany. The goal was to show everything commercial & non-commercial you can find in the neighbourhood, by night and by day, without commercial breaks. Every retails store, restaurant, bar, ice cream shop got a spread in the magazine, one side with the description about them and one side with a full format photo.

Every retails store, restaurant, bar, ice-cream shop got a spread in the magazine, one side with a little description and on the other a full format photo. The page has a blank background, if they’re open at daytime like most of the retail stores. Is it open in the evening and night, like bars and clubs, the page has a black background. For those who open their doors at day and nighttime, the page is splitted in black and white.
There are no page numbers, nothing is sorted by name or category. You can take a look at the map, start at one point and walk through the streets, finding the shop/bar you’re looking for and explore others on your way to your destination.
